We’ve got this, together
🌿Hi, I’m Ariana Ruvalcaba, LCSW
Successful on the outside, overwhelmed on the inside?
You’re a high-achieving woman who checks all the boxes, yet anxiety, self-doubt, and perfectionism still weigh heavily on you. You may struggle with focus and follow-through, feel chronically overwhelmed despite your success, or wonder why things that seem “easy” for others feel so hard for you. Setting boundaries can bring guilt, toxic relationships feel draining, and an inner critic constantly tells you you’re not enough or you’re too much.
I specialize in working with high-achieving women across California, including women diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood, who appear successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, and disconnected on the inside. Because yes—success, neurodivergence, and mental health struggles can coexist. Together, we’ll work to quiet the inner critic, release perfectionism, understand your brain, and build systems and self-compassion that support a life that feels as good as it looks.
You deserve to live authentically—without shame, without apologies. I see you. I hear you. And I’m here to help.
I specialize in:
- 🧠 Feeling constantly ‘on’ and burned out
- 🎯 Tired of the inner critic and perfectionism
- 💔 Struggling to manage emotions rooted in past experiences
- 🚧 Difficulty saying no or protecting your time
- 🌱 Feeling insecure, self-critical, or ‘too much’
- ❤️ Over-responsible in relationships, anxious about others’ feelings
“You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you stop to look fear in the face.”
— Eleanor Roosevelt
My Approach
My work is trauma-informed, relational, and deeply attuned to the mind–body connection. I integrate talk therapy with body-based awareness and psychoeducation around how stress, sleep, movement, nutrition, and nervous system regulation shape our mental health. Therapy isn’t just about insight—it’s about helping your body feel safe enough for change to happen.
I’m deeply attuned to my clients and focus on getting to the root of concerns—not just managing symptoms. This includes careful assessment and psychoeducation around patterns often overlooked in high-achieving women, such as trauma responses or ADHD diagnosed later in life.
I bring warmth, humor, and honesty into the room, and I’ll meet you where you are—while still helping you create meaningful, lasting change. Therapy should feel grounding and empowering, not like another place you have to get it “right.”

Therapy That Comes To You
Support, growth, and healing—from wherever you are. Life is busy and therapy should be simple. All sessions are fully virtual, private, and flexible, so therapy fits your life, not the other way around. No commute, no waiting rooms—just focused, compassionate support that meets you where you are.
Investing in therapy with me means investing in your growth, clarity, and well-being. Whether it’s your first time or you’ve been in therapy before, I’ll guide you with warmth, directness, and clarity—helping you take small, meaningful steps that actually stick.
Together, we’ll help you:
- Set and protect your boundaries—without guilt or self-doubt
- Quiet your inner critic and start treating yourself with more kindness
- Reconnect with your sense of self and feel more secure in who you are
- Build emotional resilience and manage feelings of overwhelm
- Improve your relationships by understanding your patterns, needs and limits
- Step into confidence and clarity— living a life that is good as it looks
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about creating a safe, real, and empowering space where you can come home to yourself—all from the comfort of your own space.
Take the first step towards clarity, calm and confidence.
